  1. Debutante; Ocean Alexander 27E In The Water
Ocean Alexander has been keeping quiet regarding a couple new models they have been working on. One of them is the OA 27E which is an 89-foot yacht from their 'Explorer' series. Having similar styling and lines cued from recent models, the 27E will certainly turn heads. The appeal of this vessel is her relatively small footprint but decent internal volume as well as space to store the tenders out of the way of guests.
  2. Ocean Alexander recently shared the first photo of the 27E in the water below. Here you can see the massive built-in swim platform the yard highlights. Rightfully so because you can store the tender and two PWCs in this space, out of the way of guests and easily launched into the water. As a result of this, the upper aft deck space is freed up for other uses. On a boat this size the tender is usually stored on the upper aft-deck.
  3. The range of the OA 27E is anticipated to be just above 2,000NM. With a shallow draft of just over 4-feet, your next destination won't require much depth. Onboard there are accommodations for up to eight guests on the lower deck with four cabins available; a full-beam master suite, a VIP in the bow and two twin berths all ensuite. Standard power is going to be via a pair of MAN V12, rated at 1,650hp drawing from 8,274 litre tanks. Ocean Alexander is hopeful they can have the 27E debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October. However, that is dependent on Covid-19.
