A new ThirtySix is currently well advanced in its construction stage by Mulder Yachts and the yard has taken the opportunity to highlight that the new project has been sold and will be delivered in time for the owner to use in the Summer of 2019. Mulder says that the yacht will be delivered in Q1 of 2019. The yard invested heavily in expansion in 2013 and is now capable of building up to 45-meters.

With exterior design by Claydon Reeves, interior design by John Vickers, and naval architecture by Van Oossanen, the Mulder ThirtySix is exceeding expectations throughout. Her attractive masculine profile, Trans-Atlantic range and intelligent usage of space on board make her a true sea-going yacht. Once completed she will be christened as "Calypso".

Managing Director Dick Mulder comments: "We have invested a lot of time and engineering in the philosophy of the Mulder ThirtySix. Building yachts on spec significantly reduces delivery time for buyers which is appealing. It’s an amazing vessel in every aspect. The sale of BN110 emphasizes we are on the right track and having her available for charter as well is a big plus."

When she is completed BN110 will enjoy her first stint in the Mediterranean region. Mulder Yachts have enjoyed a good run with larger builds in recent times. The "Delta One" was one of the last major builds which was completed in 2017 coming in with a gross tonnage just shy of 300GT (298). The other recent notable build is that of "SOLIS" which was completed back in 2015. She has an internal volume of 315GT.

The hull uses the Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) by Van Oossanen and coupled with a pair of 847 kW engines she should see a near 17-knot top-end speed. 28,600 LT of fuel can be stored onboard. An LOA of 36-meters, beam of 8-meters and draft of just 2.05-meters the aluminium yacht will offer spacious and comfortable environment onboard. She can be fitted with either a four or five cabin layout.
