MondoMarine signs contract for 40-meter motoryacht​

Italian yacht manufacturer MondoMarine is continuing to produce new designs and also translate them into new contracts. The same has happened with their new 40-meter semi-displacement motoryacht. The news comes after MondoMarine secured the sale of their top-of-the-line M60 model a couple months ago. The new model design rises an impressive four decks above the waterline and boasts a number of notable features throughout. Accommodation appears to be for ten guests in five rooms most of which exist on the lower deck. The master is located in a somewhat new location for onboard a 40-meter yacht. The master is forward on the upper deck, typically where you expect to find the bridge. The owner's cabin is expected to have doors on both sides of the room and open up to slim side decks but can be marginally broadened by use of fold-down bulwarks to form terraces. Another interesting feature is the location of the ensuite bathroom to the master. This private room seems to be placed one level below (main deck) the main floor of the owner's room.

Fold out bulwarks exist on the main deck as well, just outside the main saloon. When dropped down, the lowered bulwark sections are expected to improve views outward from the main saloon. A formal dining room that seats ten is situated forward of the saloon however, there is another table for dining alfresco on the upper end of the upper deck or owner's deck. Going inside from the open aft deck, there is an upper-deck lounge for relaxation and entertainment. However, this room is set up to be at the disposal of owner.

One deck above is the sun deck that is mainly concentrated aft of the midships area. The space is partially covered via a hardtop, shading the alfresco general table for ten as well as U-shapped external sofa. The other standout feature on this deck is the jacuzzi pool with a glass-edge facing aft for dramatic views when taking a relaxing dip. The obligatory sun-pads are located off the jacuzzi and more sunpads can be found on the forward end of the upper/owner's deck. The all-aluminium semi-displacement motoryacht has a beam of around 8.80-meters, an LOA of just over 41-meters and is powered by a pair of MTU 12V 2000 M72 to an expected top speed of 16-knots.
