  1. 88.5-meter "Illusion Plus" On The Interior
With the 2018 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) commencing this week, patrons and industry professionals are always eager to see what is the latest at this particular show. Known specifically for the display of much larger superyachts, it is the place to see new entrants to the market. The 88.5-meter "Illusion Plus" for example is going to be at the show and it is brand new having been completed just weeks ago. She is a big deal especially with her reputation for being the largest superyacht built in Asia to date.

  2. Illusion Plus was built in 2018 by Pride Mega Yachts in China. The industry will be analyzing her closely to see if she stacks up to European builder's standards. The six-deck yacht features exterior design by Rainsford Saunders Design and an interior by Sinot Exclusive Yacht design. Naval Architecture was undertaken by Azure Naval Architects. The interior onboard is a complex melding of tones and materials. Some rooms differ markedly but the luxury appeal has not been sacrificed when the materials were chosen. Below is an example of a corridor.
  3. Perhaps one of the more grand spaces onboard in impact and style would be the atrium. There is a two deck atrium that fuses a number of materials all in one space thanks to Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design. Leather panels on the wall are present as well as back-lit natural stone that serves as a focal point. Warm wood tones bounce the temperature scale in concert with the brown leather pieces. Being two decks, the atrium is the main point unifying nearby spaces like the formal dining area as well as upstairs entertainment saloon.
  4. One of the benefits of a large yacht is the ability to install large windows onboard. The saloons are guest spaces that benefit from the extensive glass-work. The spaces are wide and vast but with the tones and colors being muted, the guest areas offer what appears to be a subdued atmosphere. The use of leather is extensive onboard and just as it is used as a decorative accent on the wall panels, the ceiling in this room below appears to be finished in leather as well.
  5. Illusion Plus comes in with a internal value of 3,602 GT. The 6-deck yacht is no doubt spacious. Below deck she is powered by Rolls Royce diesel-electric propulsion. A top speed of 16-knots along with efficient cruising at 14-knots ensure comfortable ocean-crossing range in the region of 5,000 nautical miles. Onboard there is room for twelve guests in six cabins including of a large master suite measuring in the region of 861 sq ft. The next two largest guest rooms are a pair of VIP grade cabins followed by two doubles and a twin berth. Special features onboard include a helipad on he bow, a pool, a jacuzzi, sauna, gym and steam room. Illusion Plus doesn't have an owner as yet and will be looking to pick up one at the MYS with her advertised 145 million dollar asking price.
