  1. Fincantieri Unveils 80.4-meter Superyacht Project 'SkyBack' by Cor D Rover
Dutch yacht designer Cor D. Rover has designed another superyacht project, this time for Fincantieri Yachts of Italy. The new design calls for a 80.4-meter superyacht that centers around a major element in the package; the main pool. It is a key features onboard Project 'SkyBack' and by extension, the patented cover for the pool area on the aft main deck. Project SkyBack features a long fore deck with a relatively straight bow but her aft main deck is longer to accommodate the large, undercover pool. The emphasis was on designing a large pool area that can be used in any weather, such as in temperate to frigid or sweltering climates.

  2. The idea is to have a structure that can be extended to cover the pool area or retracted out of sight when not needed. Basically, when the deck is covered, the pool area temperature can be modified to ensure the pool and immediate surroundings can be enjoyed. As for the rest of the yacht, the arrangement and layout isn't anything out of the ordinary. The beachclub would be a stand-out feature along with an accommodation plan for just ten guests in four large suites and the owner has a private deck on the upper deck. Space is provided to sleep twenty-seven crew members.
