Hi - I bought this gear case in error from a Volvo Penta dealer and am stuck with it. It is new, never installed and out of the box. it includes all you see in the photo and nothing more. Because they are no longer produced, I can't return it. Oh well- live and learn! Used on a lot of Carver Voyagers and other boats. I paid $1100 US + Tax so looking for a fair offer. In Vancouver BC. The part number I have here on the original bill of sale from 6/23/2010 is V41100645 and it shows that I paid $1,722.50 Canadian + tax. Ouch. Full retail on this invoice shows $2,026.46 CDN. I subsequently was able to source a used 12" QL foot (the one I needed) and this one was never used and has been on my shelf for 3.5 yrs...
Thanks, I'll let my customer know you have the correct part he needs. I used to keep this part on the shelf as a stock item for BP800 thrusters as we sold so many. I think the owner is, like you, looking to go to a more powerful thruster to replace it. It's a shame that Volvo has dropped some good products from it's QL line, no more thrusters or calorifier hotwater tanks.
