    Hi dear forum

Thank you for all wonderful people that share knowledge.
I have electric toilet and the hose and velvet of discharge is around 70 cm higher then the toilet base . Can I lower that ? Is there a plumbing reason for that ? I guess smell traps but then how high should that go?
I am asking for esthetics reason. So safety first of course.

    Thanks!!!!

Hard to answer without knowing the specifics but generally speaking the loop is there to prevent back flow and siphoning water from outside the boa. It all depends on the head location and if it S direct discharge overboard or to a holding tank. In many places direct disharge is illegal
