Beautiful boat. Now I need to hit the lottery so I can afford one.

The lottery would be nice, but you can't count on it! Fortunately, there are other ways to afford a yacht. For me, I found a partner. I make payments to my partner and in return, I get to use the boat as much as I want. By the way, my partner is Key Bank! ;)

Seriously... Silverton builds a fine boat that is much more affordable than you might expect. At this years Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show, one of the models on display was a 34' Convertable Sportfish, very similar to the the 48' pictured above. If I recall correctly, the price was $159,900, nicely equipped. It seemed like a very good "Bang for the Buck".

I'll post pictures of the 34' under a seperate thread in the Silverton Forum. Then... I'm going out to buy a lottery ticket!

I attended the Cleveland boat show last weekend and had the chance to check out the Silverton 34C, 42C and the 39 MY. I have a 1986 34C Silverton and wow what a difference. Silverton has done a nice job with the line up.
