Some photos of the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show. Australias' largest boat show. Please excuse the poor resolution, I am no photographer!
Sanctuary Cove Boat Show Images 4 Catamarans. The Clipper 60 Pilothouse, beautiful line following a DeFever look. Accomodations a bit small internally for a 60 foot, however the bridge, galley and saloon are excellent. Seems like a good quality, great value 60 foot pilot. Fairline: Following a "Wally" look?
Assegai have boats there, nice, proper Battlewagons. I'll have to say hi to the boys. I'll be there over the saturday and sunday... working Great pics Kafue! Far
Sanctuary Cove Boat Show 6 Icon 54, New Zealand quality. Galley at the aft of the saloon. Heavy, good quality gameboat. Reelax Fishing Gear A "Try Hard!" Wally like Tender.
Sanctuary Cove Boat Show Images 7 Palm Beach Boats..... They serve no other purpose than getting there in STYLE!!!!!! Truly a boat to buy when you have that " GO TO BLOODY HELL!!! MONEY!" My photos do not do justice to these wonderful boats. Their scale and balance must be seen to appreciate.
Maritimo Maritimo have a big display. Established by Bill Barry-Cotter (Riviera) they a re good quality, BUT, nothing new in design or looks. In fact, place Riviera, Maritimo, Princess etc all in a line and it is same...same...same... HOWEVER, if you are lucky enough to own one, well then you are better off in quality of life than 99.99999% of the rest of the poor b@$^&*(ds treading the Earth. So who am I to judge?
Sanctuary Cove Boat Show Images 8 Is this a Riviera, Fairline, Princess, Sunseeker??? It is a Riviera
Enjoy your "work" Far! Had I known you would be there I would have keyed up a beer or two! I won't be able to get back. Regards
Yes, I'll be chatting to the promo chicks most of the time.... I mean working . Maybe a beer or two next time. Riviera, Maritimo, Princess etc - There called tupperware in the boat building language Far
Thank you very much! I actually think that Riviera does try to mix a nice balance between Euro and US style a bit more to the others. There Sport Yacht series which I love is testimony to this, as is the new 43 they launched you picture above. Still many will tell you that the Maritimo is a better built boat, though I cannot confirm this as I actually never tried one myself. I did ride but on a few Rivieras and I pretty liked them, though they are not what you call a pre battle wagon.
Liam, The Riviera, Maritimo etc are a good turn key boat (good bang for your buck). I use to go to school and sail with engineers that worked at Riv and at the engineering company that did there construction work. To Riv's credit they took a lot of weight out of the boats, and fix vibration issues.... But I can also walk through the boat with you and tell you how much things costs . My buck would stop in the US/NZ, just aslong as I can supply the fitout Far
Sure mate, I'll keep an eye out for it. I have the camera on charge, so I'll try and take a picture of that and more Cambria II, she always looks Beautiful. Far
Beautiful? Beautiful? Try "drop dead gorgeous"!! JMPO That red Horizon "expedition-style" yacht's not too shabby either. Isn't that the same boat as is marketed in Europe by Drettman as their "Bandido" line? It sure looks the same.
