Jongert launches 24-meter sloop "Uisge Beatha"​

Dutch sail and pocket mega yacht builder Jongert have launched their latest vessel. She is the all-aluminum 24-meter sloop-rigged "Uisge Beatha". Launched at the end of June 2010, she was christened with the interesting name which translates to 'water of life'.

Onboard, there are cabins to house up to seven guests even though much of the use of Uisge Beatha plans to be with the owner and his wife. This 24-meter sloop is a progression on the design of the sister-ship "Charisma nova" featuring revised lines. She has a relatively long underwater hull compared to her over-all length and shallow draft of 3.00-meters for shoal explorations.

Another fresh appeal to the design of the sloop is the cosmetic and accessory trimmed deck house. Of note is the wooden detail around the roofline and trail of the deck house. Built-in seating merge and integrate seamlessly with the lines and structure of the aft deck house. The owners plan to live onboard this fabulous yacht as their second home.
