27-meter "Anemeli" Nears Completion At Van der Valk

One of the yachts under construction at Van der Valk Yachts in the Netherlands is the 27-meter "Anemeli" to which the company has said is nearing completion. They said the yacht should be completed in a few months time. The photos below showcase the craft moving around the yard. It also shows that they have already started to spray the hull in a Alexseal metallic Silver finish. Their skilled craftsmen are now putting the finishing touches to the last remaining elements. They are also busy with the joinery on the main deck and installation of the deck equipment, making sure she will be turning heads after her delivery.

Designed by Guido de Groot and incorporating naval architecture by Jaron Ginton, Anemeli is one of the first Van der Valk yachts to feature a fast displacement hull design. Her all-aluminium, round-bilged fast displacement hull with a bulb on the submerged section artificially extends the waterline. Combined with her powerful engines, this offers a more than excellent level of speed and fuel efficiency. Van der Valk says she will be delivered this Spring.
