Yachting Developments Hull 1015 Progress

Work is moving apace on the very large sport fish project that New Zealand yard Yachting Developments has underway at present. The 38.7-meter yacht which is being built under hull number 1015 is soon expected to have the hull and superstructure mated. The engines were lifted aboard and mounted back in October and the joining is expected to happen just after Christmas according to the yard.

The yacht is being built out of all carbon composite materials and is expected to be launched later next year, targeting Q3 of 2017. Michael Peters Yacht Design has penned the exterior lines of this large sportfisher yacht while the interior is between the owner and Yachting Developments. They are also building the interior and putting it together. Many of the cabins are actually nearing completion and soon ready. The yacht is being built for an experienced sportfish owner. It will be a luxurious yacht besides being used for tournament style fishing with both formal and al fresco areas available onboard. This is Yachting Development's second sportfish build after the 27-meter "SATU".
