  1. Second Selene 92-foot Hull Launches By Selene Yachts

Selene Yachts has followed up the first 92-foot explorer yacht with the sequel! The second hull has been launched and it is in the water already doing preliminary trials. If you remember, the first hull was launched less than a year ago having being splashed in the third quarter and delivered earlier this year. The second hull is now being prepared for finishing and delivery.
  2. The long-range cruising yacht has styling lines by Guido de Groot while the Naval Architecture is by the yard themselves (Jet Tern Marine in Taiwan). The model is considered a long-range, cruising explorer. At continuous 10-knots, this yacht can sail approximately 3,500 nautical miles. On the inside, the Selene 92 has all guest and owner accommodation on the lower deck. The owner‘s suite is full-beam and features two large shaped windows on either side. Crew is accommodated on the lower deck as well, but towards the aft.
  3. This sub 100-footer is perfect for small marinas as well as exploring more remote islands with shallow bays and coves. With a draft under 8-feet (7.6-feet) this model can basically go anywhere without fear of running aground. This allows the owner to take advantage of shallow water swimming in many of the world’s gorgeous hotspots such as Caribbean waters. We mentioned previously about her long-range prowess. The 3,500 nautical mile range at 10-knots is thanks to her pair of MTU 475-horse power diesel engines. The first Selene 92 was delivered to Canadian owners and the second should please their new owners as delivery looms. Selene Yachts have another build in the works a bit larger than the 92. It’s a 103-footer and that should be a slightly larger platform of this now established 92-foot model.
