  1. Second SanLorenzo 52 Steel Taking Shape In Italy
A mere four months after the first SanLorenzo 52 Steel (christened "Seven Sins") was launched by Italian builder SanLorenzo, the second unit in the line rolled out of the main construction shed. Work is moving apace on the vessel to have her ready for launch status perhaps by the end of the year. The design externally and internally is by Officina Italiana Design and carries on design elements that were popular in the 46 Steel model while carrying forward new features and stylistic cues.
  2. As the model name suggests, the hull was manufactured from steel while the superstructure is from aluminium. The yacht was moved from the construction shed where she was put together to the current state but now she will occupy another shed that will see her have her hull faired and interior fit-out.
  3. Special features onboard include a jacuzzi on the forward sundeck, a beach club on the aft lower deck served by fold-down terraces, a range of well over 4,000 nautical miles. The beach club area can also work as a floodable tender garage for an 8-meter tender. Power onboard comes by a pair of CAT 3512C marine diesels that should drive this near 500GT yacht at maximum 17-knots through the water. The interior is going to be home to a cabin arrangement for twelve guests in a master suite, two twins and two doubles with pullman berths. The 52 Steel line doesn't stop with the second unit as there is a third hull in the works with expected completion for April 2018.
