  1. Second MCP 106LE Build Nears Completion
Brazilian yard MCP yachts is finishing up work on the second hull in the 106LE line. You would remember, the first hull to kick-off the series was completed as "Mars" and was finished in a metallic silver type paint. The second hull is easily distinguishable with an off-white superstructure and a brown sugar hull. She was built as hull 089 which is pretty logical after the first hull was 088. The series is known as the 106LE Alloy which basically refers to its aluminium construction.
  2. The 32.3-meter Limited Edition (LE) vessel is a performer if called to do so. Her twin CAT ACERT marine diesels are likely to propel the second hull to a top speed of 24-knots -though sea trials will confirm this-. Each of the engines can crank around 1,825 horse power. Even being such a speedster, she can still be efficiently sedate and offer a 3,000 nautical mile range it a drastically slower economical speed. High cruising speed is offered at around 20-knots. If the second hull is anything like the Mars, the interior should be stunning. For now, we know that she will feature accommodation for as many as eleven guests. Four guest suites are on the lower deck while the owner's full-beam suite is forward on the main deck. A crew of up to six can be lodged onboard as well. It appears that MCP is looking to deliver this yacht during the 4th quarter of the year.
