SanLorenzo Delivers SD112 "Kathleen" To Owners

Repeat customers of the SanLorenzo yard have take delivery of their latest yacht. The Scottish owner previously had a SD92 model from the Italian yard and now has possession of the SD112 "Kathleen", clearly stepping up. The new yacht is also the first one to feature an interior from Studio Citterio Veil. Near 24,000 LT capacity tanks allow the pair of MTU diesels onboard to run at a top speed of 17-knots with respectable range for a vessel of this size.

The interior of Kathleen is where the focus is simply because this is the first luxury yacht interior done by Studio Citterio Veil. Their work can be commonly seen in land-side luxury properties but this is the first time they have been contracted to the world of yacht design. It won't be their last project either as they have interior work on an under construction 42-meter EXP460. Kathleen interior is light and airy using light tones to create the illusion of larger spaces. The main saloon can also open-up from both sides and outside of them there are two fold-down terraces to expand the space -particularly when at anchor-. The interior arrangement allows for ten guests to be slept in five cabins. Four cabins are located on the lower deck while the master suite is forward on the main deck. Exterior space is concentrated on the aft decks as well as a sizable sundeck which is kitted-out for guest relaxation.
