  1. Custom 115-footer By Otam Revealed

Otam Yachts announced a new design for their Custom portfolio. While it is just a concept at this stage, it could be easily built if an owner takes on the project. It calls for a 115-foot/35-meter platform that rises three full decks above the waterline with expedition-type styling. The yacht has design by R & P Architectural Studio. They were building on the completion and success of the 35.5-meter "Gipsy" also built by Otam which represented their foray into the displacement yacht market.
  2. The situation with how the design came about was at the request of a client. So there is possibility that this design could get some mileage and actually make it into the build shed. If it does get built, the construction would be with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. The interior design offered is fairly simple with the utilization of natural palette of colours and tones concentrating on the neutral sandy side of the subdued spectrum. An example of this can be seen in the main saloon depicted directly below in render. One thing is certain, for a 35-meter yacht the salon appears quite spacious utilizing the nearly 8-meter beam of the yacht.
  3. A five cabin layout is the arrangement onboard with the master suite in the traditional on-deck position. It is full beam and a potential owner would have four other guest cabins that are equi-sized and are all on the lower deck each with ensuite bath facilities. The crew member cabins will also be located on the lower deck but towards the bow area. Recreationally, guests can frequent a number of sitting and lounging areas on the exterior decks. There is a jacuzzi on the forward sundeck and a beach club area on the aft lower deck. Tender storage can be on the aft upper deck as there is a deck crane envisioned or a garage on the lower deck can be created, perhaps up to the owner. A tender of up to 7-meters can be stored on the upper aft deck.
