Around this time in 2022 Nordhavn released the first N51 from its mold. The new model has now progressed and the yard recently launched the 4th hull in this model a few days ago. The 5th hull in the model is expected to be launched to the testing tank in May. Below is a look at the new yacht at a stage just short of leaving the indoor factory in Turkey.

The N51 sits between the N475 and the N52 in the lineup. The N52 while a bit longer at 54.4-feet compared to the 50.9-feet on the N51 has almost the same beam which for many customers can make the N51 more appealing. Similar internal volume with a boat a couple feet shorter makes single handling a bit more comfortable for some owners.

The two-stateroom passagemaker, with ensuite heads plus a day head, answers the calls from customers who are drawn to the N41 design but want more room, an additional head and a flybridge. The Nordhavn 51 will more closely resemble other long range cruising Nordhavns with her separated pilothouse, but her interior will mirror the finishes of the N41. The N51 is being produced as a complete boat that includes stabilizers, bow thruster, and davit among other items as standard. Below is a look at N51 hull 5 under construction.

The N51 is being built alongside the N41 in the Turkey-based partner shipyard. The N51 though new will go on to cement itself in the lineup with the advantages it has over the N41 like increased space/volume onboard. The N51 is a more current boat than the N52 first launched in 2014. Powered by twin John Deere 4045AFM85 M1 160 bhp engines, the Nordhavn 51 will be a modern passagemaker to usher in the new decade with state-of-the-art technology at the engineering level and a contemporary design scheme. Classification is CE Category A.
