News: Mengi-Yay Launches 45M "Aquarius"

Another yacht has been launched from the facilities of the Mengi-Yay yard. She is the 45-meter luxury motoryacht "Aquarius". She was built using a typical process for the Mengi-Yay yard, laminated wood epoxy. This yacht comes in at around 300 tonnes and is quite spacious for her 45-meter length. She stands four decks above the waterline -three of them being interior- and the other an open air sundeck.

Onboard, the 45-meter Aquarius accommodation should be for a minimum of ten guests in her five cabins. The full-beam stateroom is forward on the main deck while the other four cabins are situated on the lower deck. The master suite appears to come with a balcony on the portside and should be a treat for her new owner to utilize. Aquarius is powered by a pair of CAT C32 marine diesels which give out 1,450 horse power each. The overall design of Aquarius was conceived by Oğuzhan Güler while the Naval Architecture was done by Ginton Naval Architects. The RINA classed vessel is now in the water being prepared for her sea trials.
