  1. The Astonishing 156-meter Superyacht "Dilbar"
At 156-meters LOA the brand new "Dilbar" (formerly Project 'Omar') may not be the longest yacht in the world (that title still goes to another Lurssen, "Azzam" at 180-meters) but she certainly grabs the title for her sheer Gross Tonnage. This superyacht floats in at a staggering near 16,000 tonnes, 15,917 GT to be exact according to Lurssen. With a superyacht having such voluminous interiors, some of the features must be astounding! Some may wonder why there isn’t a large pool seen on the exterior decks. It’s not that she doesn’t have a pool, it is that the pool is indoors! It’s a fairly large pool and according to Lurssen it can be filled with 180 m³ of water which makes it the largest pool ever installed on a superyacht to date!
  2. To drive this enormous yacht forward to her 22.5-knot high-end speed there is a diesel-electric set-up below decks. Her diesel electric power plant of 30.000 kW is the largest installed on any yacht. In regards to the exterior design of Dilbar, that was penned by Espen Oeino with a superb interior done by Andrew Winch Designs. Andrew Winch quoted: "Dilbar has been a big part of my life. She is truly special, culturally unique and incredibly detailed in so many ways. We are sure that her owners will enjoy every space on board.” While Espen Oeino commented, "We here at Espen Oeino International, feel honoured and privileged to have been part of this incredible voyage. The close cooperation with all parties involved was the catalyst for making the yacht as magnificent as she is."
  3. Dilbar’s LOA is around 512-feet and has a bodacious beam is 77-feet (yes 23.5-meters across) and an insane draft of nearly 20-feet (6-meters). Of all the spaces onboard Dilbar, the owner and guest areas comprise a staggering 3,800 sqm. The yacht echoes the past colour of the owner’s last yacht ("Ona" ex. "Dilbar") with the light Ivory and Bronze mix. A total of 10,000 m² of the yacht’s surface area has been faired and painted while an eye-opening 11,000 km of cable was installed onboard. Dilbar is truly a one-of-a-kind superyacht and power to Lurssen for adding another quality build to their portfolio.
