News: IAG Yachts Launch 41M "Serenity"

IAG Yachts have launched their first yacht of 2016 and she is a 41-meter luxury vessel named "Serenity". The design is uniform and relatively balanced but one of the stand out features onboard is the proliferation of balconies. Perhaps this is why the model is known as the Terrazza edition. Diesel-electric engines are onboard that allows her to run at a top speed of 18-knots. If she is dialed back to a continuous 12-knots, Serenity can trod for 3,000 nautical miles.

Accommodation for owner and guests spread across two decks. Four cabins are on the lower deck for guests and the owner has a suite on the main deck. Serenity was launched towards the end of April, on the 25th and even then it was clear where the Terrazza model name came. Balconies are on the forward main deck where the owner suite is, on the upper deck as well. It is an interesting feature considering the size of the vessel. Now that Serenity is in the water she should be prepared for sea trials and eventual delivery to her owner.
