Horizon Launch New PC52 Power Cat "Purrfection"

Horizon formally announced the launch of another new Horizon PC52 Power Cat called "Purrfection". The yacht was built for her adventurous Australian owners. They recently flew to the Horizon shipyard in Taiwan to sea trial their new PC52, an event they have been dreaming about since they saw the PC52 model at the 2014 Horizon Open House. “We are very pleased to welcome Terry, Jennifer and Purrfection to the Horizon family, and we know they will enjoy everything their PC52 has to offer for many years to come,” said Horizon Group CEO John Lu.

Terry and Jennifer are experienced yacht owners and love to explore nature and plan to cruise Purrfection among the countless islands in Australia – because many of these islands are remote, Horizon expanded the fuel capacity to 1170 gallons as well as added 10 more storage batteries for the solar panels on the hardtop as requested by the owners. The satellite TV and internet system were also customized to suit their extensive travels, and a 300-meter anchor chain ensures they will be able to anchor out with ease. Terry and Jennifer focused on a relaxing, natural interior for their new PC52, with Hokkaido white hickory for the main wood and light, earth-toned soft goods that enhance the spaciousness of the 22’ beam and three-stateroom layout.
