  1. Hakvoort Delivers 61-meter Superyacht "Just J's"
Dutch yard Hakvoort recently delivered its largest superayacht to date, the 61-meter "Just J's". Diana Yacht Design (DYD) was responsible for the Naval Architecture. Sinot Yacht Design was responsible for the exterior and interior design. She was built under the project name 'Golden Age' and as hull YN248. Construction was in both steel and aluminum and she sits on four internal decks above the waterline with an open sundeck.
  2. She is powered by CAT 3512C marine diesels and the contracted top speed is 15.5-knots. Cruising speed is set at around 13-knots and at 12-knots continuously she can run 4,000 nautical miles. Just J's is now the current flagship from the Hakvoort yard but soon that title will be taken from her with the 64-meter Project 'Something Cool' is delivered to her owner in 2017. Just J's superyacht packs nice features into her 61-meter frame. There is a small pool on the sundeck measuring 3-meters by 2-meters and with those dimensions, it is fairly small but there is a contra-flow system built-in to allow endless swimming. There is a gym and cinema onboard. Accommodation is for as many as sixteen guests in six doubles, a VIP suite on the main deck, the owner has an entire upper deck with their room forward (comes completed with a large circular skylight over the bed). Her tenders and personal watercraft are in a dedicated garage aft on the main deck. The wait is now over for Just J's owner and they can lavish in the luxury that is presented onboard their personal floating palace. We now cast our attention forward to the recently sold project Something Cool.
