  1. Delta Marine 72-meter "Albatross" On The Verge Of Delivery
Delta Marine's second largest project is on the verge of delivery to her owner (said to be from the Middle East). She has been working hard to conclude an intense sea trial schedule in preparation for her delivery to the owner. "Albatross" is the name of the 72-meter superyacht and she is expected to leave the U.S perhaps in a few days for her Atlantic crossing bound for the Mediterranean to meet up with the owner.
  2. Albatross weighs in at around 1,700 tonnes with a healthy 42.8-foot overall beam. She was built with a steel hull and a composite superstructure to a design that surely included in-house work by Delta Marine themselves. Delta Marine though are bound by confidentiality agreement, thus information surrounding this build is sparse. Floor-to-ceiling windows dominate the composite structure to allow the natural light to filter though the vast interior spaces. As many as 19-crew members will work onboard and a minimum of six guest cabins for the owner a guests are present. Other features that are common knowledge include a jacuzzi on deck for guests, a helipad on the aft upper deck and a transverse oriented tender garage.
