  1. 63-meter Project 'Balance' In Build At Benetti
A 63-meter steel hull recently arrived at Benetti's Livorno facilities for completion. This is the hull belonging to build number FB276 otherwise known as Project 'Balance'. The yacht has a design by Giorgio M Cassetta who gave the craft a long and straight bow similar to that of previous Benetti build "11.11". The extra length in the bow provides tender storage with a larger shell door on the starboard side for a limo tender and PWCs and a smaller hatch on the port side for a general purpose crew tender.
  2. There are four interior decks with guest accommodation on the lower deck and main deck. Four double cabins exist on the lower deck for guests and crew accommodation is forward on the same deck towards the bow. The owner's suite/or VIP is full beam on the main deck and takes up real estate just aft of the tender garage and forward of the main deck lobby. There is a large double bed, his and hers bathroom space, walk-in closet, office space and plenty of storage. There is also a balcony that can be deployed on the port side of the cabin for the owner or lucky guest. The forward upper deck is home to the final guest room and we believe this may be a VIP type suite although it could be the owner's cabin as well. The space is dominated by large wraparound glass for more than 180 degrees.
  3. Project Balance will have ocean crossing range once sailed conservatively and a continuous 12-knots should see her endure for 5,000 nautical miles. Balance is 206.6-feet long with a beam of 35.4-feet and a draft of 11.1-feet. Her gross tonnage comes in at just shy of 1200 (1,190 GT). 12 guests can be accommodated in 6 cabins and 13 crew in 9 cabins. There is a touch-and-go helipad on the bow and a beach club in the transom which is expanded by the deployed transom door and two side shell doors. Now that the hull has arrived in Livorno, Benetti will mate the aluminium superstructure and then carry her indoors where she will be completed and launched in 2018.
