News: Azimut Unveils Grande 35M At Cannes

Azimut Grande 35M Unveiled At Cannes Yachting Festival

On the 7th of September, Azimut unveiled a new model to the yachting public -well actually two and gave an update on their status during a press conference-. The Azimut Grande 35-meter was announced two days ago also with the news that the first hull in the new series has been sold to a Middle-Eastern customer. The new hull is presently under construction and is expected to be completed in early 2017 and make an appearance at the Dubai International Boat Show.

The new yacht has a number of interesting features onboard inclusive of a beach club, expansive bow retreat with alfresco dining, sunpads and jacuzzi and the option to have the craft come as either a flybridge model or an enclosed skylounge type. The bow has an interesting shape when viewed from above, it isn't your typical pointed prow. Below the waterline, the fast planing hull features a wave-piercing type of bulb. As mentioned before, two new models were introduced in Cannes. The Azimut Grande Line featuring the Grande 35 which will assume flagship status when completed and the Grande 27.
