  1. 41-meter Motoryacht "Ruya" Launches At Alia Yachts
Turkey-based builder Alia Yachts just announced that they launched the 41-meter luxury motoryacht "Ruya". She is a tri-deck sub-500 gross tonne motoryacht that was built in all-composite to Lloyds Register standards and adheres to LY2 and MCA. Now that Ruya is launched we expect her delivery to come in a couple months after the normal sea-trial and testing regime is satisfied. This yacht is actually lined-up to make her world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) in September.
  2. “We have kept a low profile to date, because building high quality custom yachts has always been our main focus,” says Gokhan Celik, President of Alia Yachts. “And this approach has paid off. Thanks to referrals from our clients, owner’s representatives and designers, buyers with custom projects know how to find us. As a result we are now building four custom yachts ranging from 30-meters up to 80-meters and we have some very serious inquiries for yachts over 40-meters.” Of her many features, Ruya boasts a jacuzzi to seat ten, a bar on the sun deck an elegant design by Sam Sorgiovanni. In fact the interior too is designed by Sorgiovanni. Accommodation on the interior for guests is five cabins to house ten guests. Four cabins -two twins and two doubles are on the lower deck for guests while the owner has a master suite forward on the main deck. Crew of ten also have five cabins. Top speed is expected to be around 14-knots with her dual CAT C32 ACERTS. Dial back to around a continuous 10-knots, she can have a 4,000 nautical mile range. As we said before, look out for Ruya at the 2015 MYS as she be making her world debut.
