  1. 60-meter Project 'Samurai' At Alia Yachts
Information surrounding this particular yacht has been kept under a veil for a while now but Turkish builder Alia Yachts have released some details as well as renderings recently. Back in 2015, the yacht company handed over their first major yacht in the form of the 41-meter "Ruya" now they have their ambitions set much higher by firmly heading into superyacht territory with the build of Project Samurai. At 60.2-meters the Omega Architects designed vessel will become the yard's flagship when launched.
  2. The four-deck yacht has an interior designed by UK firm Redman Whiteley Dixon (RWD). The arrangement onboard is fairly typical with the aft main deck having the yacht's main saloon and formal dining area. The Upper deck has the second saloon/tv-entertainment room and bridge. The only aspect different about the layout is the guest accommodation as they are forward on the main deck rather than in the traditional lower deck midships area. The full-beam master suite as well as four of the guest cabins are on the main deck where you see those floor-to-ceiling vertically rectangular windows. There is also an option for an extra guest cabin on the upper deck should the owner need to boost the accommodation to twelve guests. The performance of the yacht is likely to be in the range of a 21-knot top speed and still have the efficiency to run a 5,000 nautical mile range. The Naval Architecture is via Van Oosanen Associates. Project Samurai is expected to be launched later this year.
