  1. A&R 72.5-meter Superyacht "CloudBreak" Nearing Delivery
German builder Abeking & Rasmussen’s latest superyacht, the 72.5-meter explorer yacht "Cloudbreak" is nearing delivery status. She is expected to be handed over to her owner at the end of this month. True to her explorer genes, the yacht is expected to leave and embark on a circumnavigation of the globe. During the globe-trotting trip, charter guests are welcomed to tag-along as the yacht is anticipated to visit rare and remote areas of the world.
  2. The design of Cloudbreak is penned by Espen Oeino with a luxurious and comfortable interior by Christian Liaigre. With a tonnage around 2,200 gross tonnes she is rather voluminious with space across her 4 internal decks above the waterline. To facilitate her globe-trotting mission after delivery, Cloudbreak will have great features onboard including a large helipad for the yacht’s helicopter. Additionally, there is a large viewing/observation platform that wraps around the yacht’s main mast. An array of tenders will take guests ashore for planned mountain runs and ski trips. Also, the yacht’s crew has been hand-picked to cater to the nature of the maiden voyage.
  3. The yacht’s name is also fitting to the mission she is intended to carry out. Cloudbreak, for those who may not know, is a popular surfing spot in Fiji. Length overall is 72.25-meters (237-feet), beam of 12.40-meters (40.6-feet) and a draft of 3.4-meters (11.5-feet). The displacement superyacht was built as hull number 6499 with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. Keep your eye out for this explorer yacht from Abeking & Rasmussen as she prepares for delivery later this month.
