  1. 85-meter Project 'Sasha' Arrives At Lurssen For Completion
Lurssen is doing particularly well in the 85 to 92-meter market with many yachts within this range being launched and completed within the last couple of years for their happy owners. It doesn't appear that this trend is letting-up as yet for the German custom superyacht manufacturer. Very recently, the 85-meter Project 'Sasha' arrived at Lurssen's Rendsburg facilities for completion. As per usual, Lurssen is keeping things tight-lipped on this build .
  2. If you study the hull in detail it is fairly easy to recognize similarities with past Lurssen builds. "Lady Lara", "Solandge", "Kismet", "Phoenix2" are all fairly similar in concept just with individualistic exterior styling and custom interiors and deck spaces. On Project Sasha it appears she will have a helipad on the bow much like most of Lurssen's recent 85 to 95-meter builds. The tender garages also appear to be in the bow which no doubt is to release the aft lower deck space for a large beach club as is hinted by the transom with vertical windows fixed. We are not sure who the designer is for the 85-meter project Sasha -as Lurssen has divulged nothing- but Espen Oeino's seems to be on the lips of many. The five deck, 2,850 gross tonne yacht has been built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and is anticipated to be completed in 2017. As more information is revealed about Project Sasha YF will be sure to update you. The above photo is of Project Sasha being transported to Lurssen Rendsburg and the below photo is of Lurssen Solandge for comparison.
