  1. Admiral Launches 75-meter Explorer "Planet Nine"
Italian yard Admiral Yachts recently launched their explorer yacht project. The yacht is 75-meters but doesn't look near that stipulated LOA. The design is an interesting one having most of the superstructure planted forward of the midships area. That was needed to cater to the large helipad on the aft upper deck which is capable of carrying an Augusta Grande size helicopter. There is also a helicopter garage below the helipad to store the bird while not in use and there is fueling capability too.
  2. This 75-meter was built as Project 575 signifying the 575th vessel that the Italian yard launched over its entire existence. The final name has been revealed as "Planet Nine" and will be a true explorer yacht capable of cruising cold Antarctic regions with her Ice Class hull. On the inside she features design by Fitz Interior. Five decks are available for owner and guests to roam. The highest deck features a jacuzzi on the forward end of the deck flanked by real estate for sunpads.
  3. Planet Nine as an explorer will have an armada of tenders. There is a rescue/crew tender stored on the bow. On the aft main deck it appears she will store a pair of 9.75-meter Rupert Marine tenders. Special features include two elevators onboard, one specifically for crew utilization and the other for guest use that connects the lower deck fully with the sun deck and other decks between. There is a beach club and spa as well as cinema facilities. Planet Nine is due to be delivered to her owner this year.
