  1. New Launch: Hakvoort 50m "JeMaSa"...

On January 28 2006, Hakvoort Shipyard launched the 49,99 meter JeMaSa, due to be delivered in April 2006. By volume and tonnage, JeMaSa is the largest yacht launched to date at Hakvoort Shipyard.

JeMaSa is a twin screw ocean going motor yacht with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure and equipped with facilities that allow her decks to be enjoyed throughout the year. Take the aft deck, for example. In warm weather, this will be the ideal spot to relax in the shade of the upper deck. In strong winds, it can be screened off on both sides. And in cold weather, the entire deck can be enclosed.

JeMaSa has a split level sun deck to accommodate both a helicopter platform and a Jacuzzi. To guarantee exceptional comfort levels, she is equipped with special stabilization-at-anchor systems.

The yacht profile has been designed by regarded Espen Oeino Design and naval architecture has been carried out by Diana Yacht Design. The design of the yacht’s interior is in hands of Michela Reverberi and Barbara Barry.

The launch party gathered 400 guests in a party tent built on pantons next to Hakvoort Shipyard. The owner organised this event not only to celebrate the launch with his family and crew but also to thank the shipyard’s employees for their commitment and dedication.

  2. JeMaSa today in Monickendam. She isn't a huge superyacht by todays standards, but she is still large enough to dwarf her surroundings :)
  3. Her top deck and radar arch have been added since her launch
