Codecasa launches 65-meter "Family Day"​

The latest yacht to come from Italian mega yacht builder Codecasa has been launched. She is the 65-meter, 825 ton (half load) yacht christened "Family Day". Her design is modern featuring a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. According to Codecasa, she has 2 X CAT 3516B marine diesels boasting an expected top speed of just over 17 knots. Upon dialing back on the horsepower, Family Day can attain over 5,000 NM at around 12 knots. On the inside, this 65-meter yacht is able to accommodate 12 guests in a sumptuous atmosphere. 12 guests sleep in 7 staterooms.

The yacht's interior is described as being contemporary modern in design. The interior was formulated by a team of architects in Anna Maria and Franco Della Role with inputs for the yacht's owner. The yacht's 5 decks are served by a dedicated elevator although a series of stairs allows complete access throughout.

The launching of Family Day on the 24th of April means that she will be ready for use in the Summer season. After final fit-out and extensive sea trialing to satisfy requirements she will be delivered to her anxious owner. Codecasa has another major yacht of 65-meters to launch in June.
