  1. New Heesen 58-meter superyacht design by Francesco Paszkowski

Dutch yacht builder Heesen are always reinventing as well as keeping their product fresh for the ever discerning market. One of their latest projects recently came to light in the form of a 58-meter superyacht design. The new yacht design bears sleek yet aggressive lines from the pen of Francesco Paszkowski.

Besides the fast and low profile of this superyacht design, she offers the guests onboard the ultimate experience. Fold-down bulwarks and drop-down terraces are incorporated into the design. It allows a better sense of connection to your surroundings to feel and see the outside from indoors. More surprises pop-up on this design when closer attention is paid.
  2. On the forward end of this 58-meter yacht what appears to be a normal walk-around area to the bow with a possible sunpadded region is really a hidden cockpit-like area for relaxation. However, instead of the crew having to set up carbon poles and attach sunshades/awnings, they will just have to press a button and a solid bimini rises from the forward structure on rams to provide shade just in front of the bridge.

For this relatively slim-beamed vessel, the designer made the most of the deck space available. Sun-padded regions dominate the aft decks keeping guests happy in the process. The hull of the vessel is based on Heesen's FDHF (Fast Displacement Hull Form) created by Van Oossanen Naval Architects. She will likely reach a top speed of 23-knots using this hull form and being powered by a pair of 16V 4000 M93L MTU engines.

Looking indoors now, we find accommodation for guests in five cabins. In double occupancy levels, that's ten guests. Breaking it down, that translates into a Master Stateroom on the forward end of the main deck and four double and twin rooms on the lower deck. The sleek vessel will run for 3,200 nautical miles at 12-knots but she clearly wasn't designed to travel that slowly. The range will dramatically decrease during higher speeds.
