    "Lady Christine sighting

I stumbled onto this website while trying to find info on one of the most beautiful yachts I have ever personally seen.
I was on my boat at the marina in Bangor, Maine when the Lady Christine pulled in. I will try to post a few pics as that seems to be the popular thing to do on this site.

I also found this because I saw this beaut in Bangor while tending to my (now, seemingly dwarved) boat this evening (7/26/09). Wow!

this vessel is amazing to say the least! the lady christine is not at a marina to say, she is tied up at the bangor docks right on the waterfront. its really great to be able to walk right up to it with in 15 ft. my wife and i went down to the waterfront tonight to see it in person after we read about in the news paper, this thing made the front page!!! guess not much happens here in maine ehh? so just to answer the question in the thread prior to this, she is not at a marina, just drive down main st. in bangor ya cant miss her.

Years ago I was helping move a 140' dinner yacht w/ helicopter and we got iced in at Mulgrave, Nova Scotia. At the time Mulgrave consisted of a liquor store and a post office...and this yacht. Not exactly low profile.:)

Do you know of any tours go onto the Lady Christine? My folks live in nearby Orrington and would love to see the inside. It just hit me, Christine was a novel by local author Stephen King....

Unless you're buds with the owner that's not going to happen. Years ago there was a nice yacht in the first slip at a certain Ft. Lauderdale marina. At about 11PM 2 bimbos decided to just go on board like it's a boat show. I near fell off the dock laughing when the elderly, overweight owner came charging through the door in his undewear, gun in hand.
P.S. Christine was also my old girlfriend, but the boat's not mine.

Thanks for the reply NYCAP123, I found another site that has all the interior pictures so we will have to settle on that for now.....2 bimbos....did the owner try to keep them or scare them off? I'm just sayin...

He could rent them at his liesure. When they come aboard uninvited you shoot if they don't move fast enough.

The Lady Christine is an amazing ship. I can imagine just how tough it would be to travel the world on her. It would be rough but I would do it in a heartbeat!
I am not sure how long she will be docked here but I do hope she returns one day.

Stephen Kings "Christine" was about a car, a lil corvette they could never compare.
