I believe the aforementioned Delta is owned by one of our esteemed members.

Orig the 65 was designed with DD 471 with 90k displ. They are bouncy IMHO w/o 3x air height vs draft. Fine in protected or coastal waters, but not one I'd take trans-Pac.

A true full displacement hull - like a Diesel Duck needs far less power to do the same http://www.****************/articles/cruiser-reviews/motorsailer/diesel-duck/
I trust the guys who deliver them on their bottoms. Most workboats don't have a lot of air height - exc when needed (Miss River push boats). My choice for when I sell this tug is a DD for pleasure cruising - mizzen sail rigged, 125hp Cummins diesel, 3000nm range, 1600gal bunker c - perfect.

Just wondering ones thoughts on this expeditions explorer yacht business.... Have to say the San Lorenzo 460 EXP sure looks good.... Large crew required of course...
