In the last 9 years I have replaced the vinyl cockpit bolsters twice. There basically vinyl over some type of foam. There about 5" thick so pretty cushy.
This time I'm considering replacing them with Seadek. Anyone on here used the Seadek product as a bolster. Its a solid material and won't be as cushy or near as thick (3/4") but I'm not fishing that much. Love to hear opinions or if you have another similar product that you recommend.

I've seen kind of a trend removing it especially on boats that don't fish much. Sometimes going back to just fiberglass/gelcoat/LP. I say go for it and replace with whatever you like. Some new high end custom sportfishers are using teak on the vertical face now too.

I like that teak but don't want to have to clean it all the time.
