Jörg Beiderbeck founder of Beiderbeck designs passed away recently aged 69. He has been around in the industry for quite some time and joined Lürssen in 1986. Back then he was substantial for laying the groundwork for Lürssen's entry into the superyacht industry and their success! (Designer of "Be Mine"). After 10 years he left Lürssen and set up his own design office. Although they stayed (with the big projects) rather on the sideline in recent years. But they were and are involved in projects ranging up to 150m. He withdraw from day-to day executive duties in 2012. A real industry veteran!
