  1. Bering Yachts Launch B65 "Golden Mile"
Bering Yachts launched their latest B65 named "Golden Mile" recently. The yacht features a Castle tan hull with bold red boot stripe and Classical White superstructure perfect to match the traditionally inspired lines of the B65 model. The yacht was launched for an experienced yachtsman and tailor-made for their planned usage. They are into sailing and fishing as well as travel and were seeking a custom-built 'over-engineered' explorer yacht that could be reliable and powerful to utilize.
  2. Golden Mile is the third B65 to launch from the production line and she will make her world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in mid-September. The 236,000 lbs vessel is a rugged explorer built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Along with being rugged, Golden Mile can also trot very far for her size. Using just 17,000 LT of fuel she can sail for around 5,000 nautical miles at continuous 8-knots speed. Basically she burns 30 LT of fuel per hour at 8-knots.
  3. She has her bridge up front -with its forward-sloping windows- overlooking the tall bow for good visibility. Her interior is luxurious without being over-the-top. The galley features Corian Pegasus countertops and high-rate appliances. The guest spaces are finished American Walnut varnish and Sivec Marble in the ensuite heads along with high-quality soft furnishings.
  4. The interior on the lower deck houses guests in a three-stateroom layout with additional room to sleep two crew members. As mentioned before Golden Mile is the third hull in the B65 series with "Namaste" and "Serge" being the previous two delivered hull. She will make her debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival but this yacht will also be available for inspection as well as sea trial. Be sure to contact Bering Yachts for more information regarding this.
  5. On the exterior guest spaces are spread across the yacht. There is an integrated swim platform on the stern which should aid access to the water. Ascend either of the two moulded stairs the aft main deck cockpit is the next area which is a transition region but still has minimal seating. Upstairs on the aft upper deck is storage for the yacht’s main tender. Forward of this position is the flybridge area which has a secondary helm control for open air navigation as well as plenty seating for guests around small tables. The flybridge is fitted with a large hardtop to ensure protection from the elements. Forward of the bridge has seating on either side too for slightly more private setting.
  6. Alexei Mikhailov, Co-founder and CEO of Bering Yachts is particularly proud of this Bering Yacht calling it one of his favorites so far. Mr. Mikhailov continued to say that he believes the model will be successful and that they (Bering Yachts) will continue to build them for clients that are seeking a rugged explorer option. The Bering B65 boasts 7-foot headroom throughout the vessel’s interior spaces. Remember to look out for Golden Mile premiering at the Cannes Yachting Festival September 12th to 17th, 2017.
