She does look good in the black sails. I can't wait to see some more photos of her in the future with the sails up.

There is a one minute video on Instagram showing Black Pearl sail in the open waters of the North Sea. Looks pretty good. It will be cool to see any videos or photos of her handling the rough seas under sail.

But I would have to say I would go with more of an Aquijo type interior.. But that is just me.

Reminds me of the interior that was in Derektor's Cakewalk before the Pendennis refit and renaming to Aquila.

Awesome find! The video was very well done! Hopefully we can see more of her in the future. In the video a man stated "We predict under the right wind and wave conditions we will be able to reach 30 knots and do Atlantic crossings with no fuel use. I know MF can do an Atlantic crossing with no fuel use but for a vessel of Black Pearl's size to be able to do 30 knots that is INSANE! Now the question is which one is the favorite among everyone and which one will win in a race?:D

Also, the tender looks pretty nice and I imagine the inside is nice as well.

Too bad the interior renderings don’t match the innovative design the rest of the boat has. One thing that I find interesting is the designers. I thought Nuvolari & Lenard did the design but now Ken Freivokh has been listed as being heavily involved. Does his firm own the patents over the dyna rig system so they will always have some sort of involvement?

We will have to wait and see, she should have been handed over a while now but she hasn't. Remember "Al Lusail" ex. Project Jupiter took a really long time to be finally delivered, outside of her being a really large yacht she just was largely finished and sitting at the yard.

If the claims in the video about speed and trans-Atlantic crossings with no fuel use are true then she is a remarkable achievement. I have to say the interior renderings are not to my taste though and the exterior looks too much like any other motor yacht.

I agree I wish the the interior was more modern and innovative. But to answer the question.. I wouldn't be surprised if Freivokh's firm owned the patents so that way they will have involvement in all future dyna rig projects.
