It is known that there are many lawsuits and claims against the various entities that we call Northern Marine (the Northern Marine name was at one time leased to New Word Yacht Builders). Some of the principals have gotten off easier than others, but claims are being paid and lawsuits are being won. For all of the hundreds of thousands of dollars spent in legal fees, for all of the heartache of owners building a dream boat and still being boatless, at least some of the duplicitous participants are being forced to accept responsibility for their actions. There is no just compensation, but at least justice prevails for some of those cheated. Others are still paying their attorneys to fight a fight that should have never been.

Nothing could make me happier than seeing some of them pay the price rather than being completely protected by corporate and lease structures. Duplicitous is being kind and I quite imagine the accusations in court used a far stronger legal term for their activities.

Actually that was the most fortunate thing that could have possibly happened for the buyer. He was lucky compared to others.
