UK yacht manufacturer Princess Yachts has delivered the latest Princess 40-meter motoryacht to her owners. The latest is called "X5" and is now the fourth hull in that series to be completed. She also has a distinctive hull color that will differentiate her. The color isn't bold but it is different, sporting a sandy colored hull and white superstructure. The new yacht was seen arriving in Guernsey recently which leads us to believe that she has been delivered. Princess Yachts has not released any information on their latest M40 delivery as yet and as details come to hand YF will let you know. This class of yacht won the prestigious 2013 World Superyacht Awards as the flagship of the Princess range. Over one hundred and thirty feet long, the tri-deck 40M epitomizes the craftsmanship coming from Princess. From the high tech resin infused construction to his ‘n hers en-suites, to the master cabin, this is the ultimate state of Princess’ art. Sound and vibration is minimized and the resin infused hull means the yacht is much lighter than one would expect for a boat of this size. Power comes from twin MTUs giving a top speed of 23-knots. Cruising speed is around 12 to 14-knots, which gives the boat a fuel consumption rate of 250 to 300 liters per hour and a range of 1,500 miles.
