  1. Cape Scott Unveils 42-meter Flagship Design
Cape Scott unveiled renderings of their latest project they are developing. If built it would become their flagship. The yacht is a massive (by their standards) 42-meter steel-hull yacht with three internal decks. It features an ice-class hull to allow her to explore frigid areas of the world. CS137 as she is being called is overall a classic look to her design with balanced appearance and rather soft lines with subtle curves. On the interior, the explorer yacht will be comfortable as well offering guests (up to 12) accommodation in six staterooms. There is an owners cabin along with a VIP-type suite both featuring en-suite bathrooms and large walk-in closets. Twin Caterpillar 3508 C engines are envisioned to power this yacht to a top-end speed of 15-knots. You will be able to sail this yacht almost anywhere, she has an ice-class hull as mentioned before to Lloyds Ice Class 1C. There is a 30mm bottom plate for extra protection as well. The company suggests that the yacht can be built on a semi-custom basis.
