cant seem to figure out how to remove the original Sole TV that came with a 33 SS I just bought. It is a 20.1 TFT monitor/TV. Anyone here know how to?

I removed the TV on my Carver 404, by unscrewing the wood trim around the TV opening. With the trim removed, the TV was able to slide out.

We ended up turning that area into more storage for the wife's clothing.

If you post a photo or two of the TV, I might be able to provide some additional insight.

This is what my set up looked like before I took out the TV

Thanks Jimmy. Here it is. It is a flat screen that appears to be on a flat bar running down the middle behind it. I read one other post on another forum that said it was strapped on and had also had double backed tape holding it on. The advice was to cut the strap and slice though the double strap. Didn't want yo try it until I got advice from this site.

    Mod Edit: Oversize Image Removed.

Mod had to take the picture off. On the mail I then sent to myself on the IPad it said the picture size was 78.9 kb so hopefully this will work this time. If not, I will have to wait until I return to my PC next week. image.jpeg

This is a bit different set up than mine.
Is it posible to access behind the monitor from the cabinet below or through the AC vent on the right?

Already checked above and below. I don't think so on the AC vent. I don't remember a Side pocket of any kind. The tv swivels a little and you can see the brace and the nuts bolting it down, but it would be very awkward to get yo them. I will look at the AC vent when I get home.

Any other thoughts? I can call Carver also, I guess.

No update. Ended up spending the free time I have had on a couple of other projects. Will probably be a late fall/early spring deal. I did get some information on another site that said that there may be a strap on the back that has to be cut off. Others who have replaced TV's have replaced the brace with a modern one.

I figured it out. I pulled the trim off and there were four screws on each side holding the support for the TV in place. I cut the trim when installing a new flat screen. The flat screen is nestled back into it now. Have new storage in place as a bonus.
