    Hi!
Just a quick word to let all you lovers of "Lady Christine" know that she is at a Newcastle Harbour mooring waiting for a re-fit.

I don't think she requires a re-fit as she looks beatiful as she is

    That's Newcastle, NSW, Australia

Oh! to be so lucky being able to view her from such a short distance across the channel

    See Ya!

As with Pegasus heres a couple of Jpgs taken from the 3D model done with Microstation.. Lady Christine was always one of my favoorites especially the liferaft launchers.. Lloyds of London actually said to me 6 months ago "Your a mad man, I lost money on you cas I bet the things wouldnt work.." Shame i dont have any jpegs of that one.. but they woked didn't ?::) :)

As promised heres some shots I took not long after Lady Christine and Pegasus arrived in Alblasserdam after the very long barge trip from South Africa.. The firs one has Lady Christine right.. Pegasus parked fwd of her , and in the top left is Constellation just before launch. Having her final coats of paint

While I'm still hovering over this thread..I am seriously looking for anyone who has an international yachting magazine that did features on Lady Christine some 4 years ago.. I cant remember which one it was but there was a lot of photos of her finished.. (as if I dont have enuf) I would really like to have a copy.. Someone here must remember the articles.. Lars or maybe Carl.. If anyone can help I'd really appriciate it,, or,,, any other articles on the oceAnco yachts over 4 years old.. As from then I have them ... Lady Lola aswell I need :) :)

For Lady Lola, you may be in luck. Stan Antrim is a member of YF. Contact him via PM. His screen name is "YES!"... as in Yacht Escort Ships.

    Angelus:

Lady Christine was featured in the fifteenth edition (2002) of Boat International's "The Superyachts." Her master stateroom is featured on the cover and there is extensive information and photographs contained therein. I expect that information was, at least in part, a reprint of an article in the magazine circa that period as well.

    Blakey:

LC was being refit in OZ for general maintenance, the addition of zero-speed stabilizers and an expansion to her "garage." Her lovely lines should not be effected.

    Hi,

I think there might be two yachts with the same name here, cruising up the Delaware River on July 04 and then in Croatia on July 16 of the same year would have meant they were proceeding to sea and proceeded at 18.45 Kts for 12 days.

(I used the distance from Philly to Rijeka as my points of reference as I couldn't find Chester in my route calculator, which upon careful checking seems to be a POS)

Since first posting I looked up the boats specs she has an advertised cruise of 14 kts with a range of 5000 Nm and a max of 16kts. Going at this speed would reduce the range by a lot.

According to a website dedicated to spotting yachts, the Oceanco Lady Christina was in Annapolis, USA on the 1st July.

Perhaps the similarity of name, and to an extent, styling, is cause for confusion.

When I first saw Lady Christina on the front cover of a magazine, I did think it was a new Lady Christine.

It's taken a while to make sure I am the names the right way round now.

    Hello,
I'm from Rijeka,Croatia, and have seen Lady Christine these days in my city.It looks magnificent.I was wondering, are the owners of such boats known?
Is there more than one Lady Christine?

The owners care a great deal about their privacy, evidently, since I haven't seen any people on the boat. The blinds are shut and it all seems very empty, but of course,I suppose I might be wrong about it.

Anyway,it is a beautiful boat.Thank you for all incoming answers

Hi, there was a 42 m yacht with the same name and owners before but today I think she is the only big yacht with this name. As we donĀ“t discuss owners here, I will not reveal their names, but you have probably never heard about them if you are not into sail racing...
