88-meter superyacht "Quattroelle" completes sea trials; near delivery The stunning 88-meter superyacht "Quattroelle" launched at Lurssen in late August, (August 23rd) and was time-tabled for delivery in November. She is on track to meet that schedule as the quadruple "L" yacht has completed all of her sea trials and passed them satisfactorily. A landmark yacht, not just for Lurssen but for Nuvolari Lenard Design, as she is the first superyacht Lurssen superyacht to be completely designed -exterior and interior- by N&L. The 88-meter yacht formerly known as Project 'Bellissimo' when she was in build, did her main trials October 23rd to 25th.
She is a successful combination of elegance and sporty looks well on the way to become Classic. The size of the yacht with its massive volumes was a challenge, but with careful volume distribution and a proportion study, Nuvolari-Lenard has achieved a sleek appearance of the yacht. The funnel design reminds of the air scoop of a formula one car with its inverted shape creating the distinctive silhouette of Quattroelle. A quick review of her accommodations is for twelve guests in six staterooms. Quattroelle has been built for a repeat client and this time they made sure to make a statement of lifestyle. Quattroelle basically means 'Love, Life, Liberty and Luxury'. If you look at the motif on the bow and the sides of the funnel/mast you will realize they are four "L's" together. The steel and aluminum displacement yacht will be delivered to her owner shortly. For more information: Lurssen Fr. Lurssen Werft GmbH & Co.
