Lazzara's 110' Motoryacht presents a visionary new 21st century, state of the art standard for luxury styling, sea-keeping, and livability.​

State of the Art is the byword for Lazzara’s newest design, the 110 luxury motoryacht, which boasts the most complete array of standard equipment in the marine industry. The L-110 combines its windswept teardrop leaping-dolphinesque design with sleek, frameless windows for leading-edge style throughout. Banking on its half-century of a sea-kindly reputation, Lazzara’s newest model states its case as a leading contender in the 110-ft. category of luxury yachts.

Forward-based design styling, spiral molded stairways, spectacular performance, rich, ultra-livable interior space – seemingly more than most larger yachts – give the L-110 a unique presentation for a production yacht in the United States. Lazzara’s comfort range also extends beyond its modish Jacuzzi, to an oversize cockpit and living area, combined with classic design touches such as gold-plated door handles, polished brass fixtures, teak aft decks and deck furniture, fine wood veneers and liberal use of marble. Windows are 3/8” chemically-strengthened laminated glass. Fluted wood columns for room separators, elegant marble and carpeted flooring in selected areas, plus a utilitarian laundry center, all add up to the finest in yacht design for cruising comfort.

Its cruising capability also exceeds many yachts in the 115’ range, with top speeds up to 30 knots. Driven by DDC/MTU 2000 series 16 cylinder engines, it develops 2000 hp with a 3.48:1 gear reduction. Unusual for a yacht this size, L-110 also sports twin transom pods with a hoist for PWCs, port and starboard, with hydraulically activated doors and electric hoist winches; plus a fishing/diving cockpit.. That’s in addition to its optional 16’ tender launch/storage on the top deck.

Spiral molded staircases, port and starboard, lead to the high-style, molded aft cockpit area, which offers access to the transom PWC pods and storage compartment, as well as the entryway to the crew quarters. Here also, is a freshwater hot and cold shower for swimmers to refresh themselves, and a special Harken track-car system for fender placement. For tender launching on Open Flybridge models, a built-in alternate tender launching system – a hydraulic davit, 2,000-lb. capacity with remote controls, integrated into the flybridge – easily handles the launch operation.

With specially treated teak decking, the aft deck provides entree to all ship’s levels, via its centrally-located spiral stairway, plus easy boarding access through port and starboard gates. It also sports stereo speakers above in the hardtop, plus a refrigerator/icemaker, teak-topped table, and an upholstered seating group, as well as cushioned side chairs. A full set of electronic docking controls with throttles and bow thruster utilizes port and starboard stations.

Luxury in fabrics and equipment continues throughout the raised pilothouse, as a curving array of instruments display the functions of all ship’s systems in the fully equipped control station. Electronic engine controls boast combination clutches and throttles, a bow thruster control, plus alarms for engines, gears, bilge, and generators. Captain’s and guest helm seats are Stidd, finished in Ultraleather. Facing the electronically power-assisted hydraulic steering; it is fashioned of custom-forged aluminum. There are also convenient bookshelves, plus a desk with drawers for charts and manuals. Behind the captain, the guest settee is upholstered in rich fabric and Ultraleather, accommodating a large group of kibitzers, facing an oval cocktail table.

The optional Cabriolet Skylounge is another study in pleasure-giving – a retreat from the chores of the day, or evening, to be savored as an escape for solitude, or to host a smaller, gentler soiree. Totally surrounded by 3/8” glass windshields and ¼” windows delivering magnificent views, it features air conditioning or heat as the occasion dictates, plus welcoming interior furniture groupings: Side-curved settee, end tables and two side chairs add to the camaraderie. There is an additional forward settee and desk for those who must labor, in addition to a portside cabinet with refrigerator, sink, and clear cube ice maker. Stain resistant carpeting takes the risk out of roller-coaster conditions, while a double sink aids snack-prep. The entertainment center is built around a 42” flat screen TV/CD/DVD player featuring surround sound.

Lazzara 110’s Open Flybridge model offers a fully equipped power station with clutches, throttles and bow thruster controls, as well as three Stidd helm chairs – two singles and one double. Libations/snacks are available from the banana-shaped bar (4 stools) with teak and Corian tops, sink, dual Miele electric grills, and a refrigerator plus wine-cooler. There is booth-style seating for four forward of the bar, with an icemaker and cabinet underneath.

Integrated into the flybridge styling line, the Open Flybridge model also provides for tender launch with a remote control hydraulic davit, 2000-lb. capacity.

Entering the chic salon through curved, double glass sliding doors, the feeling is one of admission to an upscale private club, super-comfortable and stylish, done in the finest taste. Rich leathers and fabrics form a warm and welcoming aura, while couches, chairs and soft but effective overhead lighting project an arrangement of homey satisfaction. Fabrica carpeting with SoundDown padding in a light cream shade echoes the overhead, where a massive, teak-edged oval mirror reflects and visually enlarges the already spacious layout. Conversation areas are grouped with couches and separate deep-cushioned chairs, cocktail table, lamps for end tables, while a gaming table and convenient bar also present opportunities for togetherness.

Centered in the salon is the elegant oval dining table – expandable to a setting for eight, surrounded by silverware and china cupboards with glass doors, storage and cabinetry in resplendent fine woods. Recessed overhead lighting illuminates the scene. Marble flooring underneath adds padded carpeting and a wood border. At one corner beams the 50” plasma TV, with surround sound DVD/CD/VCR player. Centering the entertainment sphere, it is strategically placed for cloistered use but available to all sections of the lounge, viewable from the dining room as well as the main salon.

Food prep areas include copious high/low wood cabinetry, as well as a five-burner electronic cook top, micro-wave oven with exhaust fan, rounded out with a Turkey-day-size (27”) built-in oven-plus-convection feature. Side by side refrigerator and freezer drawers with ice maker, insta-hot water dispenser, and dishwasher complete equipment for the fixin’s, while a trash compacter awaits the rejects. There is a smoke detector in the hallway leading to the galley.

A granite-topped island sink/food-prep area is the middlepoint of the galley/dinette, though the focus falls immediately on the sumptuous curved settee, with seating for six hungry voyagers. Country kitchen warmth is projected with its cherry-planked flooring and Ultra-leather upholstery; wall coveringds are of standard fabric patterns. Pleated shades and valances enhance the window decor.

Leading to the Master stateroom, the foyer presents a rich wood credenza with veneered top and large mirror. Its Crema Marble floor adds a nice design touch for the entry to the fully carpeted master suite. Storage is provided here for the central vacuum, with additional storage under the stairwell.

Comfort and luxury combine to offer a pleasant, secluded hideaway, equivalent of the finest luxury hotel. Excellent design and use of fabrics and colors accentuate the expressive island walk-around king size berth, with ample storage beneath. There are twin veneered vanity dressers and bed tables along with fabric-covered vanity chairs. Also, four veneered book cases and a large walk-in closet sport double hanging rods, a shelf organizer, plus a full-height mirrored door.

A curved canopy over the headboard holds thick padding and a mirror that visually stretches its complete width. Cabin doors are gold plated cast bronze, as are wall switch plates. Six panoramic fixed windows provide ocean views night and day. A 42” plasma TV/CD/DVD with surround sound provides background or visual entertainment.

His and hers twin vanities, each with Crema Marfil marble tops and under-mounted Corian sinks, flaunt luxury and quality with designer décor, fixtures and towel bars. Mirrored storage cabinets highlight each sink, with full-height lighted glass front towel storage cabinets, and designer robe hooks. A premium luxury: the full size tub with Jacuzzi, and separate shower access from both his and hers head areas.

Three VIP guest staterooms proffer near the luxury of the master’s suite. Each is characterized by lush fabrics and decor, with 17” to 30” TV entertainment centers, as well as walk-around queen-size berths, mirrored hanging lockers with cedar accents and private access to the head/shower. Each boasts veneered bookcases, nightstands, pleated shades and valances at the windows.

The VIP Suite presents private access to the head from the stateroom. It features Crema Marfil marble floor and vanity, with under-mounted Corian sink. as well as a stall shower with Grohe brass fixtures and brass faucets.

In addition, the Captain’s stateroom, to starboard, harbors a full size berth and wood base – storage below – with a nightstand and drawer storage. Electronioc equipment includes a 15” LCD TV, Satellite Receiver fed from the Crew’s lounge, and a tuner/CD player. The stateroom also provides access to the Captain’s head, featuring gold plated brass cabin door handles.

The VIP Suite presents private access to the head from the stateroom. It features Crema Marfil marble floor and vanity, with under-mounted Corian sink. as well as a stall shower with Grohe brass fixtures and brass faucets.

Not shown are the crew quarters: The Crew’s stateroom shows upper and lower berths with wood storage base, hanging lockers and innerspring mattresses. A 15” LCD TV, satellite receiver and tuner/CD player complete the décor. The Crew’s head is equipped with a Corian vanity and under-mounted sink, over a ceramic tile floor, with fiberglass shower enclosure and hand shower fixture. In addition, the separate Crew’s Lounge provides a 15” TV, washer/dryer stack and storage cabinets, plus study/relaxation furniture.

When Vince Lazzara inaugurated his yacht building companies in the early 1950s, (Aeromarine, Columbia, Gulfstar) he revolutionized boat building with the first large fiberglass-hulled sailing yacht. The company has been a consistent leader in yacht design, both here and abroad. This visionary approach has continued to guide the company’s marketing/design programs and to provide a mark for other yacht builders in the U.S. as well as Europe, to follow. Today administered by brothers Dick and Brad Lazzara, this latest version of yachting luxury – Lazzara 110 – is a perfect addition to its remarkable gallery.
