In the video, the woman reporting the incident stated "it was a million dollar yacht"...

    It's a 2004 116' Azimut... add a digit honey!

Unfortunately, I'm playing the role of the anchor for next few weeks, not the field reporter. If news comes across the wire, I'll interupt our regularly scheduled program. ;)

Really sad to see this! Does anyone know her name, it could be the first Azimut 116, TV. I don´t know how much of the 116ft serie yachts, Azimut already launched?

The first three Azimut 116's were all delivered to owners from Mexico . The first

was TV , then Mister D followed by Mi Vida. I don't know of the three which one

    was grounded. Anyone know ??

Another Azimut went into the rocks off of hillsborough inlet a few years back. I believe it was a 70 foot SeaJet. It will be interesting to see if this was a captain error or a major mechanical failure. I would lean towards a mechanical failure.

Well one more sad news (after Mirabella V, Zeas Marina in Greece...). According to the few that I saw on the video, I can say that this 116ft Azimut is "TV". I saw her in Monaco during the last summer. When you look at the video, you can see the "TV" logo on the right of a blue square on the stern...
