I posted this subject matter on another forum and it seems to be well received.

I think some persons not even interested in sailing to a great degree will still find some of these videos 'exciting', particularly considering the seas they are sailing in

This first one is an excellent video not to be missed
...and turn on the music...good as well

    Harken's Anniversary Video

This week's video was produced by Harken, who are celebrating their
40-year anniversary this year, and have created a tightly edited
celebration of 'all things sailing'. Footage includes landsailing,
iceboating, scows, skiffs, offshore mulithulls, and pretty much anything
else that floats and sails. There are also some pretty cool segments of
winch machining and robotics assembly. The 6:07 minute video provides a
handy reminder of how many types of sailing there is, and how much fun
    it can be (courtesy Scuttlebutt)

As i would say in my Bajan Dialect, 'yow, tha is sick ya' translation--hey, that is nice there.
Thanks for the links Brian, gives a great insight into the perils and thrils of racing.

    Wow

Hey Brian. Not really wanting to repeat what the others have said. So I just say thanks and WOW. I never did that kind of speed under sail in the yachts I was racing. I almost regret finding this site, It's awakening all the good memories of the sailing and power boating. Thats cutting edge stuff. Nice one

Here's another good video from speed week in San Fran...2006, no sound for some reason...anyone know where you can get your hands on one of those hobie trifoils...look like lots of fun too bad they stopped making them, can't seem to find any on the market!
