Amels/Damen delivers 67M SeaAxe support vessel "Garçon 4 Ace" The latest delivery from Dutch yacht manufacturer Amels/Damen comes in the form of the latest Sea Axe support vessel. Not only is she the latest Sea Axe vessel she is also the largest and was built to support a large Lurssen superyacht delivered this year as well. Her name is "Garçon 4 Ace" and that unashamedly suggests which superyacht she is destined to support. The high-speed support vessel is capable of maintaining quick speeds in rougher sea conditions and has a phenomenal range of 4,500 nautical miles at 18-knots. Garçon 4 Ace is powered by four CAT engines (3512Cs) with top speed estimated to be 25-knots. Not only is she fast but also versatile, that was her purpose for being built. ***** Yacht & Ship the company that managed and oversaw her construction suggests that the large support vessel is able to carry a Bell 365 helicopter, 5 large tenders ranging in size from 10 to 14-meters, a 4 man submarine, a complete custom diving cabin and numerous jet skis, wave runners and sea bobs. The helipad is fully certified for large helicopters with a take-off weight of 5,000 kg. Garçon 4 Ace is expected to be on show this month in Monaco at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS).
